This unit is about conditionals and reported speech. We make frequent use of conditional statements in our daily speech. Therefore, it is pretty important to use the correct form of conditional when forming these sentences. Also, we often hear something from someone and then go tell it to someone else. This is reporting speech. When reporting some else's speech, we should always change the tense to its past form including some pronouns and time adverbs.
