The main benefit I get from this unit is a reminder of how important it is to encourage and guide students to practice the language and communicate. Even when correcting, teacher talk time must be kept to a minimum in order to have the students try and correct themselves or with the help of a peer. Realizing that I have been using the same strategies and techniques during my classes also gives me a sense of satisfaction.
