This Unit is about Theories, Methods and Techniques that can be used in the teaching and learning of English. Basically the level of language learning, students' background as well as cultural background of the students will determine the method that the teacher should use in teaching a particular group of students. I have also learnt that basically good lessons should follow the ESA pattern or way of presenting information to the students. Activities in the lessons should also take into consideration the learners or students' background.
