Unit 8 explained about the Future tense. It consist of seven tenses.First is the Future simple,it indicates actions in the future.I have learnt from here that we can substitute might/may to will and shall instead of will when expressing questions and formal situations.Usages are for spontaneous decisions, predictions with no evidence, future facts, promises and threats. The Future continuous tense is used to indicate an action in progress at a particular time in the future which can use for actions in progress at a future time, predict the present and for polite inquiries. Also, the use of Future perfect tense, that indicates the action in the future that will be completed by a point in the future,it is use to speak about the action that will be completed before a future time.the Future perfect continuous tense which is not commonly use,it talks about how long an action had been taking place until a certain point in the future and it is use to declare how long an action will have been happening by a point in the future. The "going to" in the future tense was tackled in this unit as it is use for future plans/intentions( which is decided upon before speaking) and predictions based on evidence.Other Future forms are the Present simple to talk about Timetable and Schedules. The Present continuous for future arrangement.
