I have learnt in Unit 2 the 10 parts of speech and its basic uses to form a sentence.The Noun,which names a person,place,things and concept.Verb,the action in a sentence which can be an action verb or a state verb,Adjective,the one that describes a noun and it is important to consider the rules in using a cluster of adjectives in a sentence.Pronoun,takes the place of a noun,this one makes the students confuse as well as the teacher as it also have certain types such as Personal,possessive,reflexive and reflective.There is also the Adverb,which describes the verb,it has 5 types.The Conjunction,it joins words or clauses in a sentence to create one complete thought.The prepositions which shows the relationship between a noun and pronoun,that simply shows the time,movement and place of a noun.Unit 2 also tackled about the gerund which is the base form of the verb + ing to be use as a noun in a sentence.In this unit it describes the basic uses of all the parts of speech and as a teacher it is important to always review its uses to be able to confidently explain to students how to properly use it.
