This unit offers a good overview of the tools and resources available to the teachers to convey the content of the lessons in an engaging manner. As all tools, they are only as useful as people know how to use them, being given an interactive white board changes nothing if I'm just going to write on it, and the same can be said of all teaching aids. Being able to use the equipment also doesn't change much if I can't put it to good use.
To sum it up, teaching aid doesn't aid much without proper preparation.
