This unit dealt with the concepts of receptive and productive skills. Both concepts were introduced, but this lesson focused primarily on the receptive skills. The unit points out that receptive and productive skills should typically be taught simultaneously but emphasizes the process of the first. I learned how to teach reflective skills using the ESA format. The unit, including the test, gave me a clearer idea of how to teach listening and reading.
