This unit takes a close look at the various approaches, techniques and methodologies that can be utilized in the English language classroom. It explores the historical development of language teaching and covers the pros and cons of the many different methodologies that have been or are still being used in different situations around the world. This unit culminates in an overview of the ESA methodology which this particular course is based around. I learnt a lot of activities that can be used in each phase and the correction techniques as well.
