This unit will be especially encouraging and helpful to a beginning teacher. Most of the practices covered here are what experienced teachers know, or should know. Unfortunately, some experienced teachers do not follow these practices for whatever reason. Perhaps they have gotten into a "rut" themselves, or outside influences are affecting their performance in the classroom. Still, even for experienced teachers this unit is a good one to read as it could refresh the teacher's memory and help to instill some new life into the lessons.
