Unit 7 does a great job of tying together previous chapters. The straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork lessons from unit 3 now come together in showing examples of ways to teach vocabulary, structure, and grammar. These types of lessons appear to be engaging and provide real life purpose for students.
This unit also discusses the factors that can make learning new language easier or more difficulty, for example. finding similarities between known language or other English words, how a word is spelled or pronounced, and its appropriacy.
