Brief Overview of Unit 6
The unit teaches the four past tenses namely:-
- The past simple tense.
- The past continuous tense.
- The past perfect tense.
- The past perfect continuous tense.
The unit explains the usages for each tense in sentence structuring, and further describes the common mistakes and errors students make in the use of these tenses.The unit sets out sample activate ideas, to aid students to learn past tenses in sentence structuring.
What i have learnt
I have learnt and studied the concepts in this unit , and the unit has refreshed my understanding of past tenses as well as broadening my knowledge of how to teach past tenses to students.
