I learned the parts of speech and what each word in a sentence refers to such as an adjective, noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, ect. It is interesting to take this lesson as you think you know all the rules about the English language, but a lot of it I have found I have forgotten. I learned the various types of adjectives, verbs and nouns as well as gerunds, conjunctions and prepositions. The last three are ones I really needed to focus on!
