This unit focused on the two receptive skills, listening and reading. As well as how readers and listeners are able to understand through their specialist skills.
I feel like this unit has taught me taught me how to build interest and motivation for all students in a classroom to use their receptive skills (e.g. through the use of topics that students are interested in ). It has also taught me a example lesson and some activities. However, I wish there was a little bit more detail about problems that students may face with their reading and listening skills, especially in the student to student interactions.
