tenses can be very confusing, i feel i have better understanding of the tenses, with some extra research i had done i feel more confident in understanding how each tense is used and why it is used that way. it still is very confusing even though i am a first language English speaker, it doesn't make things easier as there are rules for the way each tense works. we just take it for granted, as it comes naturally when spoken but putting it down on paper and understanding why it works that way makes a person think a little.
