Unit XI talks about receptive skills - reading and listening. In this lesson I learned about the importance of reading and listening. On how to built the students confidence with receptive skills, just like using of selected text, pre-teaching difficult language before the students starts reading, and using text that gives more interest and motivation to the students. Also in the part of choosing topic of a text, I learned that the teacher should use variety of topics to cater for all interest.
