This unit was about two video lessons. The first one was about what teachers should avoid in order to accomplish a good lesson. It showed that the teacher’s attitude has a great impact on how the students participate and feel about the lesson that is being taught. On the contrary, the second video was about what the teacher should do in the classroom to meet the final objectives of the class, such as having a well prepared lesson plan and good timing for each phase of the lesson. Overall, I learnt about the teacher’s role in the classroom and how to effectively manage a classroom when there is a lesson plan to follow.
