This Past Tenses Unit reinforced my existing knowledge of the system and structure of past tenses. As a result of studying this Unit, I have been able to refresh my understanding the usages of the various past tenses - including the past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous - common errors and ideas for teaching the past tenses to my students. As always, I find the task-sheet at the end very useful to gauge my own understanding and enables to summarise the learning in my own words.
