From this unit I learned that there are particular qualities that both good students and teachers have. I also learned that there are many types of teaching roles that are each useful in their own right and the use of either one of them depend on a particular activity and/or what you would like the students to achieve. This unit also highlights the different language levels there are, each of different to a student's understanding and knowledge of the English language. There are also many different aspects to consider in a student's ability to effectively learn the English language ranging from age and motivation to behavioural problems and life experiences.
