In this unit I learnt about present tenses. That there are four different aspects of the present tense. This being the present simple, the present continuous, the present perfect and the present perfect continuous. This unit taught me how to identify each aspect, how to form proper sentences from each aspect properly, the usages and the typical mistakes that students make when trying to make sentences dealing with each of the aspects. Furthermore, this unit provided many ideas on how to teach students to use, create and identify correct present tense sentences.
