This unit focuses on the present tenses. It covers present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I learned about the form, usage, typical student errors, and teaching ideas for this topic. On a personal note, it was interesting to learn about the 'why' to the present tense. As a native speaker I have not thought about why I form the present tense in different ways. Therefore, I am glad to have learned about the usage so that I can explain this to new English speakers.
