Lesson execution is definitely a huge task for any teacher, especially to an unexperienced one; that's why I believe that lesson planning is an essential skill that a teacher must have. Some teachers hate to do lesson planning because it appears to be tedious, however, this unit just proved that it shouldn't be the case. My key takeaway from this unit is that lesson planning should not be an added burden to teachers, but rather a tool that would help us perform better in class. As the unit has emphasized, there is no one way of writing a lesson plan. We could always create one that would best fit our needs.
