Obviously, studying about different teaching methodologies is useful as it helps us understand how TEFL has evolved. Personally, I consider that, even though I was not aware of it; I tend to follow an ESA pattern in my classes. I believe this is due to the fact that teachers tend to know what works and what does not as they move along their careers. Certainly, all the tools and methods included in this unit will help me a great deal in the planning of my lessons.
