In this unit I found that parts of speech can be very complicated and it is essential for the teacher to understand them properly in order to educate the students effectively. Personally I also learned the difference between transitive verbs and intransitive verbs. Something I didn't know before which has now enhanced my knowledge of the English language and ability to teach it too. I feel that I now know enough of the parts of speech to not lose the confidence of my students. Some parts of speech are both complicated for both the student and teacher.
