This unit provided learning theories, methods and activities. First, it outlined a variety of language learning theories past and present, and offered critiques of each, noting positive and negative components. It then moved into methods for teaching language, focused on the Engage/Study/Activate model where students interest is piqued, they do some formal study f the component, and then are asked to actively use the language. Finally, Unit 3 provided a number of techniques and activities for planning and delivering engaging lessons and experiences for students.
