This unit focuses on the receptive skills, reading and listening. There are two reasons for reading and listening: for a purpose and for entertainment. They could be a mix of the two of them. This unit also went thru the specialist skills (predictive skills, specific information, general idea, detailed information, deduction from context) readers and listeners use when reading and listening. I also learned the basic keys to successful teach receptive skills lessons.
