It is good to know that we need a mix of authentic and created materials to really engage our students. It makes sense, I don't want to only use one book while learning something either. It will also be interesting having to choose the book to use. I am having a hard time understanding the exact order things should go in the ESL lessons...ie the boomerang method vs. the straight arrow method. Not sure if I understand what should come first. But I am sure that will come.
