In this unit I learned about the basic rules of modal verbs and that they can have different ideas depending on which ones are used and how. The chart was very helpful in explaining a lot of the different uses and what tenses the modals can be used in. Being able to reply or make a statement with certainty/uncertainty just by using a certain modal auxiliary verb is great and I"m happy to have added this additional knowledge to my English grammar. I have also learned what the difference is between active and passive voice and found it very interesting on how the same thing can be said with different emphasis on who is important or not.
