This unit was a lot of fun to watch. In the first example of a poorly executed class I recognized a couple mistakes that I have made, especially in my first classes as an English teacher. (Thankfully, I’ve received a lot of tips from this course and have adjusted accordingly.) I took note of the way he placed the information on the board in order to provide just enough information, and also allow the students to come up with the missing parts of the sentences. I found it very helpful to watch a full class from beginning to end, to see how the teacher transitioned between activities and managed the classroom.
