This unit has helped me to have a better understanding on how to teach speaking and writing lessons to my students. I have a better understanding on what is most important to focus on and how I should create a lesson for speaking and writing. The most difficult part about this type of lesson to me is knowing what to focus on. However, after reading the section about handwriting and spelling I have a clear and better understanding. I am thankful for this lesson giving me the tools I need to help my students be successful in their learning!
The games portion of the lesson was interesting as well. While I have many ideas of my own for teaching when it comes to games it is always helpful to have backup games to choose from that are known to work well!
