This unit was all about how to teach reading and listening skills. Reading and listening are receptive skills - where a student receives information - and speaking and writing are productive skills - where a student must make their own material using the knowledge that they have. This unit also gave several ideas related to the creation of lesson plans for this subject, including how to select material and where to direct the student's attention first.
