This lesson was about modal auxiliary verbs and also types of transitive sentences. The transitive sentences are not necessary for beginner students to learn but the modals would be very useful for them and especially for the cultures where a high placement is put on formality and politeness. This would allow them to be more comfortable using English even if it is a tricky thing to get a hold of in the language.
