This study unit was about managing classes. The unit included how one can use their voice, eye contact and gestures in a manner/way that is most effective when teaching in the classroom as well as the proper etiquette or manner in which to write on the board when needed. It also included the different ways a teacher may group students depending on what activity or stage of the lesson they are in, and the pros and cons of each grouping as well as when it is most effective to use a particular grouping in a lesson. Furthermore, it teaches one how to arrange the classroom and what to take into account when doing so and how to establish rapport between the teacher and the students that will inevitably play a big role in how the students and teacher respect one another and leads to an happy and enjoyable atmosphere for learning, where the students will be relaxed and be eager to learn. This unit also gave helpful pointers on how to deal with students who display problematic behavior in the classroom.
