Providing feedback is essential and I should focus more on improvements rather than mistakes. As a teacher, I should be able to distinguish students weaknesses and assist where possible with remedial work or lessons. As English is not phonetic, this unit has shown me that spelling can be relatively tricky for students learning English. In order to correct the possible errors, I will need to encourage students to read more. Lastly, I have learnt that games can play a large part in engaging students and upholding their interest in learning English.
