Unit 3 brought up some very interesting ways on how to engage students into lessons. I particularly enjoyed the Fizz-buzz activity. Math is an important skill to have that will absolutely be used in everyone’s day to day life. This unit has provided me with so many skills and tools, in how to teach a lesson and what types of lesson quiet thoroughly. The Engage, Study, Activate Method is a method that any new teacher can learn and adapt quickly to use in the classroom. A lesson must always beginning with the engage phase and the lesson must always end with the activate phase. A teacher should not start an activity without giving the students proper instructions and examples of the following lesson, as to avoid confusion and causing lost time of learning.
