In this unit I learned about different types of learners and how differently one much go about teaching a class. I found the do's and don'ts for teaching beginners really helpful because it pointed out somethings that I thought might be good for beginners, like using their native language to help them understand. I always thought it was helpful when my Spanish professors slowed things down for me and spoke in English so I at least knew what was going on. However, if you taught the students well and explained what was going on in a clear manner, then you wouldn't need to use their native language.
