The future tense is definitely the most difficult of the tenses in English. Future Simple (I/you/he/she will) can be used to indicate future facts, promises or predictions. Future Continuous (I/you/he/she will be) can be used to indicate something is in progress, to predict currently occurring events, for inquiries, and to refer to future events. Future Perfect (I/you/he/she will have) is used when you want to indicate something that will have been done in the future. Future Perfect Continuous (I/you/he/she will have been) is used when we want to indicate how long something will have been going on by a specific time. Present Simple (adding s to a verb) can be used in a future tense when we want to be more formal or impersonal. Present Continuous (adding ing to a verb) can be used for events both with and without a definite time.
