This unit about managing classes was reassuring in that it seems to me that there is no one personality type that makes a good teacher - all teachers will need to find their individual style. Managing a class will involve being aware of multiple things: The teacher modulating their physical presence in the space (i.e. where in the classroom they are, their body language, how much they are a center of attention), responding to the classroom dynamic, maintaining students' attention with a well-prepared lesson that minimizes time spent writing at the board, and provides all students opportunity to engage with their class.
