I have learnt that the methods of teaching come into play along with the materials chosen for the lesson. It is important to know when to omit certain parts of a given course book as well. Previously, I had no experience with having the option of omitting and replacing course materials provided as I did not think it was a possibility. As a teacher, I will need to be prepared in all aspects of the lesson especially when it comes to course materials, if they are chosen of even presented in an unsuitable manner, the students would not learn as much as their capabilities allow.
