I have learned about the different roles a teacher can assume during a lesson and how to better apply/choose which role to adapt depending on the situation and the goals of the lesson to be taught. I have also understood the differences between teaching young adults, teenagers, adults and really young kids and which kind of factors can affect their success towards learning a new language.
I have also refreshed my previous knowledge regarding the different levels and traits of each level and how factors such as learning experience, motivation, nervousness, behavior problems and life experience (among others) have to be taken into account in order to be able to encourage and foster each student's progress.
