I have learnt the following with regards to this unit:1. The different types of methodologies to use when teaching English to second language learners and which ones are more beneficial. 2. Jeremy Harmer's 'ESA' method was very helpful especially regarding elicitation techniques. The different types of lesson plans with examples were very useful. In conclusion, besides the above, I learnt about various games and ideas that are practical and good for ESL learners in every stage of teaching. Also, the importance of error correction.
