This unit is about managing the classroom. Managing the classroom well is a very important part of being a good teacher because it creates a positive learning atmosphere. The unit covers how the teacher can use gestures, eye contact, and voice, as well as how to group students, arrange the class, manage discipline, etc. Something I appreciated learning were the tips for maintaining discipline because managing discipline is a challenging part of teaching children and teenagers.
