Unit 15 Evaluation and Testing explained there are a number of ways to assess a student's language level by tutorials, evaluation by students, and test. There are many kinds of tests in the course ( placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests, general external examinations and Cambridge assessment ). From this unit I learned more about many kinds of English tests based on what you need and what your purpose.
