It was interesting to watch the same points taught in drastically different ways and my main takeaway was that lesson planning and attitude of the teacher is very important in student success. Depending on the age of the student, how engaging the teacher has to be to engage students is different, but I think all students across different levels want to feel that the space they are learning in is a safe place to make mistakes. In this way, i think lesson planning is very important because if the teacher is prepared and comfortable, they can also create a comfortable learning environment for the students.
