Unit 11 covered the receptive skills of reading and listening. The unit taught about the two divisions for reading and listening which is listening for a purpose and listening for entertainment then unit 11 taught about how we read and listen which are predictive skills, scanning, skimming, details information and deduction from context. The unit also gave various examples for the different phases of a straight arrow lesson for these receptive skills.
