Practicing all of the differences and usages of past tense verbs is very helpful. As a native English speaker, these are rules that I don't think about on a daily basis, but will be very helpful in teaching English to someone who is learning English. Task 7 on the task sheet was especially helpful, and challenging to think through! Comparing the different past tense verb tenses along with the present perfect tense, which learners will likely confuse with the past tense usages was a good task to work through; how do each of these tense structure vary; how would I clearly describe these differences and uses with examples to a low-learner? It is very helpful to begin thinking through these examples prior to teaching these skills to English learners.
