Wow. What a difference the teachers disposition makes! These lessons made me realize how prepared i need to be for each lesson so i am not distracted by having to look at my notes a lot. To teach well, we need to treat each student as a person with knowledge and the ability to understand. I learned as i saw the teacher come in without shoes on that as teachers we need to be learners as well. We need to be humble to the culture we are entering into to be able to connect with the students and help them really learn and not just know what they need to know for the test.
