This study unit dealt with EFL methodology, mistakes and feedback. This unit was very helpful in that I learnt about the different stages of a lesson, the sequence in which you can plan each stage of a lesson and innovative ways in which to implement the stages of a lesson in a way which would be most effective in teaching the lesson material for the day. Further, it provides insight on how to correct students’ mistakes in a way that would not embarrass them and keep them motivated and provide feedback that is helpful. Furthermore, I learnt the importance of being able to establish the difference between an error and a mistake and how to do so.
