In this unit I learned the parts of speech, which I thought I already knew. However, what I did not know was the different sub-categories of each part of speech and also the order that parts of speech normally go in. For example, I learned about the absence of articles, which is something I have never thought of before. I also learned that a subject goes before a transitive verb and object goes after. Grammar points that have been ingrained in my head I technically did not know, so in a way I relearned grammar all over again! I learned not only how to understand it but also how to teach it.
