With a focus on vocabulary during this unit I was able to learn different ways that work when teaching this part of the english language. I have learned that although vocabulary plays a huge role in the students success, it can also be taught in fun and interesting ways. When thinking about teaching vocabulary it can be difficult to understand what are the most important parts a student needs to know about vocabulary itself, this unit has helped me recognize the level of importances I should consider before deciding what new vocabulary I will/should teach; as well as in what order. This unit has been very helpful towards teaching vocabulary to my students.
