This unit introduces the grammar of conditionals and reported speech. I found the breakdown of the structure and usage of zero, first, second, third and mixed conditional to be straightforward and simple to understand. However, reported speech has so many variations depending on the time elapsed between utterance of the direct speech and when it is reported. Even as a native speaker it was sometimes be hard to identify the correct grammatical pattern. It certainly appears to be one of the most challenging EFL points to teach.
